A MAN has been again remanded in custody charged with murdering a Huddersfield student.
Daniel Sykes pleaded not guilty yesterday to the murder of 23-year-old Huddersfield University student Tobiasz Minski who went missing after a night out in the town last November.
Sykes, 25, of Royd Street, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, is due to stand trial at Leeds Crown Court on June 3.
He was remanded back into custody by the Honorary Recorder of Bradford Judge Stephen Gullick after a 15-minute hearing at Bradford Crown Court.
Tobiasz, who came to Huddersfield from Poznan, Poland, was studying fine art at the University of Huddersfield.
He vanished on a night out on November 9 and was found in a shallow grave alongside the canal at Slaithwaite on December 18.
