A JURY was today continuing its deliberations in a Liversedge murder trial.
They will start a second day of consideration into the case of Darren Gregson.
Gregson, 30, is accused of murdering his stepfather, Mr Mark Berry, 49, at the family home on Spring Bank Avenue, Norristhorpe, Liversedge, on June 3. He has denied the charge at Leeds Crown Court.
The Recorder of Leeds, Judge Norman Jones QC, summed up the five days' evidence for the jury before sending them out just before lunchtime on Friday to consider their verdict.
The jury of six men and six women have heard how former gardener Gregson stabbed his alcoholic stepfather seven times.
