NEIGHBOURS have launched a campaign against a restaurant and bar's bid for longer hours.
Owners of Casa, in Elland Road, Brighouse, want to play music and serve alcohol until the early hours.
One plan is to allow drinks to be served in the business's outdoor marquee until midnight when functions are on.
Nearby residents who claim they are already plagued by noise and parking problems say it is a step too far.
Councillors are due to decide on the extension on tomorrow.
One objector said there was a lot of loud music and noise when a marquee had been used in the past. Complaints had been made to environmental health officials.
Another said: "Because of problems from these premises, it is becoming more difficult to live near them. Three households have moved already due to the noise pollution."
The application includes a proposal to sell alcohol to the general public until 2.30am at the bar inside the building.
Residents said this would worsen parking problems on Elland Road, after Casa was refused permission for a bigger car park.
A public path to nearby houses was frequently blocked by cars, said residents.
Casa's owners said they ran their business with the aim of preventing disorder.
People who were drunk and disorderly were refused service, they said. Notices on display asked customers to leave quietly.
Calderdale Council's licensing sub-committee will decide on the later hours.
