A NETBALL team is looking for new players.
Mirfield Netball Club, which won the Thornhill Netball League earlier this month, need a few more women to join the team.
Club captain Vicky Almond said: “It’s the sort of game that everyone loved playing at school or college, but when you take on busy jobs, start families or get married it’s not part of your life anymore.
“Even coming along to training once a week can really pick you up as it’s your time with the girls and we always have a laugh as well as a good work out.”
The team plays in both Thornhill and Huddersfield leagues during the week.
They practice at Mirfield Free Grammar School, Kitson Hill Road, on Wednesdays from 8.15pm.
The next training session is April 21.
Membership is open to women aged 16 or over.
