A NETHERTHONG mum is set to appear on one of Britain’s biggest game shows – after the click of a mouse landed her a place.

Lisa Kendall, 41, is hoping to strike it rich when she hits our screens in Channel 4 show Deal or No Deal, hosted by Noel Edmunds, next week.

And the mum-of-two from St Mary’s Rise only won her spot by chance as she searched the internet for work.

Lisa, a volunteer manager and community fundraiser for Huddersfield road safety charity Brake, said: “As a fundraiser I work with celebrities and I was looking on the website to see if they did a celebrity version of the show.

“There was a link to be a contestant. I’d never applied for anything like this before but I clicked on it and found the questions really interesting so I filled them in during my lunch- break.

“I didn’t think anything else of it until eight months later when I got a phone call asking me to go to an audition in Manchester.”

After a day of auditioning and several more phone calls from the show’s producers, Lisa was asked to be a contestant.
