A NEW bus service has been launched for Elland workers.
From today, Metro will be making it easier to get to Lowfields Business Park from Elland town centre.
The new MetroConnect service, MC4, will provide shift workers at Lowfields with a shuttle service.
The service will run every 15 minutes in the early morning, lunchtime and late afternoon, Monday to Friday, which means workers can reach the Business Park by 7am, with the last service back to Elland at 6pm.
It will also connect with the main bus routes to Halifax and Huddersfield, as well as to services from Wakefield, Dewsbury and Brighouse.
From Huddersfield Road in Elland, the service will operate via the Elland Riorges Link Road to Lowfields Business Park and will cover all three major areas of the Business Park, Savile Way/Premier Way, Lacy Way and Lowfields Way.
