POLICE are picking up good information about the firework attack which killed a little Yorkshire Terrier.
The inquiry into the death of Emmie continues after a 19-year-old Linthwaite teenager arrested in connection with the incident was released on police bail.
A group of three people are thought to have been involved in the attack, where fireworks were allegedly strapped to Emmie and then exploded.
The attack was at Gilroyd Lane, Linthwaite, at 10.50pm last Thursday. The pet was killed and her body left on the road.
Emmie belonged to Keith and Maureen Barrington who live in Linthwaite.
A police spokeswoman said: "A lot of good information is coming in about this incident and the inquiry is continuing."
