A NEW nursery has opened in Sheepridge.

The nursery and family play room is part of the Chestnut Centre, in Chestnut Street.

The venue provides extra childcare and education services for local families.

The new nursery will provide flexible day care and education for 56 children, aged from three months to five years.

Staff, parents and children are pictured busy on projects in the nursery.

The playroom will be open to pre-school children and their families.
