THIS new photograph of missing man Alan Holt, who has not been seen for three months, has been released by police.

The 40-year-old Dalton man is believed to be sleeping rough in the Mirfield area and officers have been searching for him since his disappearance last year.

He was reported missing to police on October 2 after he was last seen at his home on Albany Road on September 27.

Mr Holt was also seen in the grounds of St Mary’s Church, Mirfield, on Monday, October 8, and was wearing a blue jumper and jeans and had either a Lidl or Aldi carrier bag with him.

He is described as balding, white, 5ft 8ins tall and of a slim build.

He also has a tattoo on his left shoulder which reads: ‘On Fire’.

And he may now have a full beard.

Anyone who sees him should call Kirklees Police Missing Person Unit via 101.

The search for Mr Holt continues – as do the searches for two other missing Huddersfield men.

The Missing Persons Unit is co-ordinating inquiries to trace all of them.

The other two missing men are Neil Bryson, 50, of Scholes, who disappeared on November 27, and Bernard Hallas, 84, of Bradley who vanished on December 18.

Mr Bryson’s car was found abandoned near Yateholme reservoir at Holmbridge on the day he failed to turn up for work in Bradford.

It is thought Mr Hallas had become confused trying to catch a bus to Meltham. He was last seen having left the bus station and walking through town to Wakefield Road, Aspley.
