Plans to build houses and flats on a shops complex on Hudddersfield’s ring road have been delayed.

The proposal for 60 student digs and 13 houses on the Queensgate site featuring Majestic Wine Warehouse, a pet store and a bathroom showroom was revealed in July 2014.

But 18 months on and developers have modified their plans to include more student flats.

The proposal, next to Huddersfield County Court in Queensgate House, now features 64 student flats.
