POLICE have made a fresh appeal for help with their inquiries into three shootings and a stabbing in Sheepridge.

Three men were shot and another knifed between 7pm and 8.30pm on Thursday.

The main incident took place at the junction of Sheepridge Road and Belle Vue Crescent.

One of the people who was shot was originally seriously ill in hospital, but is now stable.

The others went home after treatment.

Police carried out inquiries in the area over the weekend in a bid to trace witnesses and get more information.

The investigation is being carried out by West Yorkshire Police's Homicide And Major Enquiry Team.

No arrests have yet been made.
