LIBRARIES have been stocked with thousands of new books aimed at improving people’s health.

Kirklees Primary Care Trust has paid for 15,000 books on diet, exercise and emotional wellbeing.

Clr Liz Smaje, Kirklees Council’s Cabinet member for leisure and neighbourhood services, said: “Providing val-uable information on a wide range of health related issues, these books can provide the first step to better health.”
