New street name wanted for Thongsbridge

NAME suggestions are invited for a street to serve a residential development off the former Fearnought Works, at Huddersfield Road, Thongsbridge.

Kirklees Council has invited people to make suggestions which should not duplicate or closely resemble existing street names in the area, nor are streets generally named after people.

Preference is often given to names with local connotations.

Suggestions may be sent to Street Naming and Numbering Officer, Building Control, Riverbank Court, Wakefield Road, Aspley, Huddersfield, telephoned to 01484 221550 or emailed to street.naming@kirklees.gov.uk before July 19.
