A HUDDERSFIELD horsewoman has achieved her dream of opening a tack shop.
Rachel Wilson, 27, has set up the Lee Hill Saddlery on the same site as the Lee Hill Riding School on Swan Lane, Outlane.
The venture is up and running as Rachel, mum to six-year-old Daniel, expects her second child in June.
The grand opening is at 5.30pm next Friday. Champagne and nibbles will be served and there'll be 10% off everything.
Rachel has been riding for 22 years and owned horses for 16.
She says: "I always wanted to own a tack shop.
"I studied equestrian studies to stage three and I used to break and school horses."
Rachel, the owner of a Dutch warmblood gelding and a two-year-old Shetland pony, also competes in showjumping and county showing.
Lee Hill will sell clothes and equipment and veterinary products, plus tuck shop snacks. There's also plenty of parking.
The riding school and livery, run by Samantha Falck, provides indoor and outdoor secure stables and riding lessons for adults and children aged from three.
