WHEN Holmfirth woman Selena McDade-Smith went to choose a new kitchen she didn’t expect to become the star of an advertising campaign.
Selena and her husband Martin went to Norwood Interiors at Brighouse to seek out a bright modern kitchen.
Bur, while she was there, Norwood managers asked if she would be willing to be a part of their latest campaign.
Now she is featured smiling on its advertising material alongside her dream kitchen. The image also appears on the company’s website.
Selena said: “I really was surprised when Norwood asked me to be part of their ads. I’d have never have guessed when I went to them to find a new kitchen, that my kitchen and I would be appearing in print.”
Norwood, which also has a showroom at Kirkstall, Leeds, said it preferred using “real people” rather than models in its new advertising.
Julie Gokce, of Norwood, said: “We love that Selena agreed to be our cover girl. We are a customer focused business so it just feels more personal to have one of our satisfied customers in our ads.
“Selena’s good looks and natural poise in front of the camera are an added bonus.”
