A RIDING school is re-opening after an eight-year break.

Woodlands Riding School in Meltham is now under new management.

Tina Wilcock, who is running the venture, said: "It caters for adults and children and offers both group and private lessons and hacks out in the surrounding countryside."

Tina has worked with horses for 16 years and has owned them for 20.

Her daughter, Courtney Lynch has followed in her footsteps and competes in local showjumping competitions with her pony, Silver - who is also kept busy in the riding school.

In addition to riding lessons, Woodlands also offers British Horse Society training, horse camps and jumping evenings, where you can bring your own horse.

Tina says the jumping evenings are "a bit of fun, where you can win rosettes in a friendly, rather than competitive atmosphere".
