DOUBLE celebrations are taking place at a Newsome nursery.
ABC Nursery on Newsome Road South has received a Kirklees Council Healthy Options gold award and a glowing report from Government Ofsted inspectors.
And Talisha Simpson certainly seems to be enjoying her healthy food in our picture!
Kirklees gives Healthy Options awards to schools and nurseries which prove they have high standards for health, hygiene and nutrition.
Gold is the top level of award that inspectors can give.
Nursery owner and general manager Di Bangali said: "They look at how we prepare meals, how fresh they are and how clean the nursery is.
"I have always thought children should be taught about healthy food and nutrition."
Ofsted inspectors examined the nursery care and its educational value. In every area the nursery was rated as good - which means it exceeded Ofsted standards.
