A TOP West Yorkshire policeman received his OBE from the Queen.
Chief Supt Phil Read, the force's head of community safety, was one of over 50 people recognised in last December's special Iraq honours list for his work in helping rebuild the country.
He was seconded to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and served in Iraq between February and September last year.
Chief Supt Read, 46, was born in Bradford, where he still lives.
