CARERS of adults with a learning disability are invited to go to an open evening in Huddersfield.
It will give them a chance to see what is on offer at Kirklees Council's Swallow Court, in Swallow Street.
The evening is being held on Tuesday, June 15, from 5pm to 8pm.
Carers will be able to chat with staff and find out about the help available for them.
Clr Sylvia Smithson, Council Cabinet member with responsibility for social services, said: "I urge all people who care for an adult with a learning disability to attend the open evening in a relaxed environment.
They can hear about the facilities which are available to them and also voice their views on how they feel the service could enhance the lives of the people for whom they care for."
There is no need to book.
Anyone who needs help with transport, or help to arrange a sitter to look after the person they care for while they visit the roadshow, should ring Kirklees Social Services Carers Gateway on 01484 226050.
