STAFF at a Dalton nursery are celebrating after being praised by Ofsted inspectors.
Inspectors rated Les Enfants Nursery at Wakefield Road overall as ‘good’ when they visited in March.
The nursery also scored a ‘good’ level in all 14 inspection areas.
Director David Smith said: “We are very pleased. We offer flexible sessions and do anything to meet parents’ and children’s needs and I think this is reflected in the report.”
The nursery, which has just been refurbished, has 24 children on its books and is one of four Les Enfants nurseries in Huddersfield.
Ofsted inspectors praised staff’s communication with parents and their knowledge of safeguarding children procedures.
They also noticed their ability to work well with children with disabilities, learning difficulties and those speaking English as a second language.
They said: “The children are given good support and all are very happy and settled.”
