A man has admitted drink-driving on the M62 motorway.

Oliver French, 57, appeared at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

He was stopped at the Hartshead Moor Service Station on March 7.

French had 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

French, of Louis Street in Leeds, also admitted to a charge of driving without a licence or insurance.

His case was sent to Leeds Magistrates’ Court for sentencing to tie up with other cases.

He was issued with an interim driving ban.
