ONE person died today and three others were in hospital after an explosion at an aerosol factory. The blast was at North West Aerosols, in Aintree, Liverpool, at 7.50am. A large fire broke out and the building was said to be well alight. A Mersey Fire Service spokeswoman said: "There has been one fatality and three men have been taken to University Hospital, Aintree. We have sent seven crews and a hazardous materials unit, as a precaution." There were no details on the age or sex of the dead person.
