A GROUP of people are going online for the first time.
Residents of the Garden Court complex at Lockwood have been connected to the Internet by Virgin Media.
The over-55s have been provided with two computers with Internet access for the next year.
Virgin Media spokesman Stuart Poore said: “We are giving training as well as broadband to older beginners. We want to help people without the skills or resources to use the Internet for the first time.”
