n greetings Model Nell McAndrew with soldiers from the Worcesters and Foresters Battalion
FORCES favourite Nell McAndrew helped send 'Christmas thanks' to British troops around the world today.
The model and mum braved chilly conditions, donning a red Santa mini-dress, fishnet tights and high boots to wave off the last of 25,000 gift boxes destined for UK forces in troublespots around the globe.
The boxes - dubbed "square stockings" - have been prepared for soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan and all other areas where British forces are operating, as a thank you for their work and commitment.
Nell, married to Huddersfield property developer Paul Hardcastle, was at Regent's Park Barracks, London.
She said: "I always support the forces. I receive lots of letters from all over the world and send off notes and pictures.
"I've been to Iraq a couple of times to see the troops and I still visit Northern Ireland and Germany. It's important our forces know they are not forgotten."
