TOWN Crier Vic Watson helped to spread some love on Valentine’s Day by handing out roses to shoppers.
The Crier is usually seen running historical tours of Huddersfield, starting and ending in St George’s Square.
But he decided to spread some cheer on Valentine’s Day by surprising strangers with a flower.
But it came at a price – the Town Crier wanted a kiss from his recipients in return for his gesture.
He also gave sweets to children.
His efforts were sponsored by the Huddersfield Town Centre Partnership and Le Chic Room in Queensgate Market.
