A HOLMFIRTH couple will be taking to the skies together for charity.

Alex and Richard Hemsley-Camenzuli will be parachuting at Hibaldstow airfield in north Lincolnshire to raise money for Kirkwood Hospice.

Alex, 28, and Richard, 33, will jump separately, each strapped to an instructor.

The couple are doing the jump with 11 staff from Huddersfield's Camel Club bar and nightclub.

They are raising cash for the Stroke Association, the Fire Brigade National Benevolent Fund, Christie's Against Cancer and the Ben Walton Oral Cancer Trust.

Alex and Richard became involved because Richard's company, Cam Security, provides door staff and security for the Camel Club.

Alex also has her own business, a personal training service based at Total Fitness in Huddersfield.

She said she has wanted to perform a parachute jump for years.

But Richard is less keen - because he is scared of heights.

The couple have raised about £500 so far, but are still seeking more sponsorship.

Pledges can be made by signing a form at Total Fitness or by calling Alex on 07801800713.
