A PAIR of friends have raised £185 to help an autism support group.

Sam Snooks, of Berry Brow and best friend Lindsey Stelling, of Skelmanthorpe, completed the Examiner Charity Challenge last Sunday.

They raised the cash for Huddersfield Support Group for Autism, which helps families with autistic children.

Sam’s six-year-old daughter Holly receives support from the group.

Sam said: “They are amazing. They are so dedicated. It is a cause close to my heart.

“It was the first time I’ve done the challenge but it was great and I’d definitely do it again for them.”
