THIEVES stole a £10,000 parachute from a car in broad daylight.
Now police have appealed for witnesses who may have seen the thieves escaping with their unusual haul.
The green Saphire 2 parachute was stolen from a car on Knowle Avenue in Moldgreen between 2.50pm and 4.35pm yesterday.
The thieves also stole an Advent laptop computer and a Panasonic DVD player.
