CYCLISTS are being invited to get pedalling to raise cash for a Huddersfield hospice.
People of all ages are being encouraged to take part in a sponsored bike ride on October 16 to raise money for Kirkwood Hospice, Dalton.
The event will include two routes - a 26-mile challenge or a 10-mile family route.
Kirklees Council's leisure and recreation service has devised the routes, which are mainly off-road and through countryside. Both rides will leave the hospice at Dalton Green Lane, at 10am.
Jane Dutton, events fundraiser at the hospice, said: "We are looking for new and previous riders to come and have an enjoyable couple of hours cycling."
Last year, about 100 cyclists took part and helped raise £5,000. For a registration form and further information call Jane on 01484 557911.
