A PEDESTRIAN has been seriously injured after being knocked down in Elland.
The woman, in her 30s, was in collision with a Peugeot Bipper van on Park Road at about 6pm today.
She was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Police closed the road at the request of paramedics.
West Yorkshire Police's major collision inquiry team is investigating.
