RAM-RAIDERS failed in their attempts to smash their way into a petrol station.
They used a stolen minibus to reverse into some doors at the petrol station on Northgate in Cleckheaton at 10.40pm on Sunday - but they couldn't get in.
They fled empty- handed, leaving the vehicle behind.
The minibus had been stolen from Dewsbury over the Easter weekend.
A police spokeswoman said: "We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the suspects making their getaway.
"Did they use another vehicle?"
Anyone with information should contact Dewsbury CID on 01924 431012.
