THIS old David Brown tractor is a permanent touch of Huddersfield in France.
It was spotted by Golcar couple Sue and Alan Starr on a four-day trip across the Channel.
Alan said: "We stopped off in Boulogne for lunch on our way back and came across an unusual art display in the town square.
"It featured all kinds of old vehicles – including a police car and a David Brown tractor – so Sue could not resist taking the photograph with David Brown’s being such an important part of Huddersfield’s history.’’
The couple revealed the exhibition is called Cars versus Nature with vehicles in different stages of decay having plants growing out of them.
Car seats are dotted around the square instead of benches to add to the vehicle theme.
We are keen to capture Huddersfield’s heritage and culture – be it here or even abroad as Alan and Sue discovered.
If your eye has been caught by a sunny face, a community event or a beautiful building then send in those images too. We are always keen to celebrate the town’s achievements, its spirit and its people.
So get out the camera and share your view of what makes Huddersfield so special.
