SPECTACULAR clouds made the light constantly change when photographer Andrew Trickett captured this sunset above Kirkburton.

The 48-year-old has always been interested in photography but has taken it up more seriously in recent months and is now a member of Huddersfield Photographic and Imaging Club.

He said: “The sky was full of storm clouds during the day and the light was changing all the time.

“It took it with a Nikon D100 at the top of Cross Lane in Kirkburton looking towards Castle Hill.’’

Andrew has worked for Kirklees Council for 28 years and is now an estimator/surveyor for Kirklees Building Services.

He lives in Kirkburton with wife Tracy and the couple have one son, John.
