A DONCASTER couple have escaped unscathed after making an emergency landing in a light aircraft on a Norfolk beach.
Graham Claybourn, 72, and wife Janet, 62, had taken off from Langham airfield, near Holt, in an aluminium kit plane, but lost power over Blakeney beach.
Mr Claybourn brought the plane down from 600ft as smoke poured from its nose.
The National Trust came to their assistance due to the remote location of the landing.
