HALIFAX police have appealed for witnesses after a young women was in collision with a car on Monday morning.

The 21-year-old pedestrian was in collision with a Fiat Punto in King Cross Street just before 9am.

She suffered serious injuries and was taken to the town's Calderdale Royal Hospital, where she was said to "poorly, but stable."
