PUPILS from Moldgreen Primary School reflected on road safety with a visit to a Huddersfield car dealership.

Michael Bell, of Polar Ford at St Andrew’s Road, talked to the children about how to stay safe on the roads and handed out reflective wristbands to help keep them visible during their journeys to and from school.

A special assembly at the school highlighted the dangers of treacherous roads throughout the winter and the need for pedestrians to ensure they can be seen by drivers in the dark.

Mr Bell said: “The children were brilliant and took everything on board and I’m sure they will be wearing their reflective wristbands with pride!”

Polar Ford visited the school as part of National Road Safety Week in support of Huddersfield-based road safety charity Brake, which helps to educate children about staying safe on the roads.
