TWO teenagers were robbed at knifepoint in Milnsbridge.

Now police in Huddersfield are appealing for witnesses.

The incident happened in George Street at 6.30pm on October 10.

An 18-year old man and a 13-year old girl were accosted as they walked along a dirt track leading towards Paddock.

They stepped to one side to let the two men pass them but as they did, one of the suspects asked the 18-year old for a cigarette and then demanded mobile phones from both the man and the girl.

A scuffle took place during which the man and the girl were threatened with a knife and had their mobile phones stolen from them. The suspects then ran from the scene.

One was described as being black, around 18, and 6'2" tall. He was of average build, with a deep voice and wore a black bandana and a dark-coloured top and bottoms.

The second suspect was white, also around 18, and skinny with short light brown hair. He was wearing a grey coat with the hood up.

Any witnesses, or anyone with information is now being asked to contact Det Con Joanne Sutcliffe at Huddersfield CID via 0845 6060606 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
