Police are appealing for information after an attempted robbery on a teenager in Milnsbridge.

The attack happened at 8.30pm on Sunday, at Greenway when a man approached her from behind and tried to steal the 18-year-old’s handbag, pushing her to the floor.

He spoke with a foreign accent and had his face covered with a black scarf and had dark eyes and eyebrows.

He was wearing a black-hooded top, blue jeans and black, muddy Nike trainers and black leather gloves.
