A driver has been arrested after a six minute police chase in Huddersfield last night.
The drama unfolded at around 9.30pm when an Audi A5 fled police on Leeds Road.
Road traffic officers pursued the vehicle at a safe distance and the police helicopter was then brought in to help the search for the suspect.

The police helicopter posted on Twitter: “Colne Bridge Huddersfield. Vehicle failing to stop. Driver alights and tries to hide in shed. @WYP_RPU remove driver from shed.”
A West Yorkshire Police Spokesman said: “The car was pursued and came to a stop on Colne Road six minutes later at which point a male fled the vehicle.
