POLICE believe a power cut which shut a Huddersfield school today may be due to cable thieves.
They are investigating a cable theft in Grange Moor overnight, which forced teachers to shut Grange Moor Primrary School today.
The school was left without heating or power.
Several homes in the village were also affected.
Cable theft is a massive multi-million pound problem in the UK, with many incidents in West Yorkshire.
