A MISSING man from Scotland is believed to be in Huddersfield.

Lothian and Borders Police are appealing for help in tracing Michael Ryan, 46, from Livingston.

Mr Ryan was reported missing from his home yesterday and details of his disappearance were circulated by West Yorkshire Police.

He is described as white, 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins tall, with dark brown shaved hair, brown eyes, and a goatee-style beard. He also has a tattoo of a black panther on his upper left arm.

He may be driving a Citroen Xsara Picasso registration SD52 NHF.

A Lothian and Borders Police spokesman said: “We are concerned for Michael's safety and well-being, and we would ask him to contact us on (0131) 311 3131, so that we can satisfy ourselves that he is OK.

“Anyone who thinks they have seen Michael, or who has any other information that can help us establish his whereabouts, should also get in touch on the

same number”.
