POLICE shut the A6024 over Holme Moss for two hours this lunchtime when it was blanketed by snow.

POLICE shut the A6024 over Holme Moss for two hours this lunchtime when it was blanketed by snow.

Up to three inches fell in a short space of time and some drivers faced problems.

The road was re-opened shortly after 2pm but police warned drivers to take care with more snow forecast for the weekend.
