POLICE today confirmed that a body found at Holmfirth was that of missing man Neil Bryson.
Mr Bryson, of Scholes, had vanished from his home on November 27. Police and firefighters were called to Brownhill reservoir at Holmbridge on Saturday to recover a man found in the icy waters.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "We have spoken to Mr Bryson's family and confirmed he is the man found at the reservoir. An inquest is expected to open later this week".
Mr Bryson's car had been found parked near Yateholme reservoir, which is a little over a mile from Brownhill.
