POLICE in West Yorkshire have saved £50,000 a year - and a big part of that has been in their toilets.
Yorkshire Water officials have worked closely with the police over the last 18 months to look at ways of saving water at police stations.
One major way has been to change the way urinals are cleaned - with sensors starting a water flow after they have been used rather than water running down them all the time.
