Police swooped on a cannabis farm in Honley today.

Officers were called to Woodhead Road, Honley, shortly after 7am and confirmed cannabis had been found.

It is believed the drugs were being grown in a caravan parked up off the road.

A large number of police vehicles were parked up on both sides of the busy road which runs past the Jacobs Well pub and the premises of Rodgers Plant Hire.

Many drivers heading to work stopped to see what was happening.
