A MAN remains under police guard in hospital after an alleged murder in Elland.

Police officers are keeping a round-the-clock watch on the 50-year-old man and have refused to say in which hospital he is being treated.

The man was one of three people arrested after the death of 33-year-old Billy Khan in a street fracas last Friday.

Mr Khan’s brother Yusuf, 35, was also stabbed in the incident and remains in hospital. His condition is said to be improving.

Two men from Elland have been remanded in custody charged with Mr Khan’s murder and the attempted murder of his brother. They also face witness intimidation charges.
