A MURDER investigation has been launched after a 20-year-old Mirfeld man died last night.
At 11pm police were called to Hepworth Lane, Mirfield, after the man was found with stab wounds to his body.
Paramedics also attended and the man was taken to hospital. He passed away a short time later.
A murder investigation is now underway by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity in the Grove Street or Hepworth Lane area before 11pm on Friday to contact them.
