Police have confirmed the cyclist killed in an horrific crash in Brighouse was a Huddersfield man.
He was named as 55-year-old Mr William Stoker.
An inquest is expected to open later this week.
Mr Stoker died after his cycle was in collision with a Citreon C5 car in Elland Road last Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened close to Cromwell Bottom about 1.20pm and led to the road being closed for several hours.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
A 57-year-old man who was in the car has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Inquiries continue.
