Police have made a new appeal to get witnesses to an attack outside a Kirklees nightclub.

They are appealing for information after a male teenager suffered a broken jaw in an assault outside the Frontier nightclub in Batley last month.

The offence happened between 3.45am and 3.55am on Sunday, December 13, when the 17-year-old victim was waiting with a friend for a taxi outside the nightclub in Bradford Road.

He was approached by an unknown man who punched him to the face causing him to fall to the ground. He suffered a broken jaw and other facial injuries.

The man involved is described as white, around 19-years-old, approximately 6ft tall, of stocky build, with fair-coloured spiky hair. He was wearing a black bomber jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone who witnessed this assault or with any other information which could aid the ongoing investigation is asked to contact Det Con Oliver Coates in Kirklees District CID via 101.
