POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was attacked.
A man in a silver Renault Clio is believed to have intervened to stop the assault and police would like to speak to him.
The attack happened on Wakefield Road, Dewsbury, at about 3pm on Saturday, October 4, but police have only now released details.
Two Asian men approached the boy, then punched him.
The first attacker is aged about 40 and 5ft 5in tall. The second is about 6ft tall and with spiked hair. He has a mole on his nose.
